Lake Valley Fire Protection District will host a roofing contractors meeting Aug. 2 in Meyers to discss its Hazardous Wood Roof Replacement Grant program.

The program is designed to encourage homeowners with hazardous wood roofs to replace them with a full Class A Assembly, noncombustible, nonwood roof.

The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Lake Valley Station No. 7, 2211 Keetak St., in Meyers.
