South Lake Tahoe police are looking for a man who may have been involved in a shooting that took place on Nevada Avenue on Friday evening.
Police responded to the 3100 block of Nevada Avenue for a report of gunshots being fired at 11:07 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle and a home that had damage from gunfire. According to Lt. David Stevenson, at least one person was inside the house at the time, but no injuries were reported. Witnesses stated that a black Dodge Charger and possibly a black SUV or truck were seen in the area.
Police located a handgun, a shotgun and the black Dodge Charger near the "Y" area, Stevenson said. They identified Agustin Bautista, 29, as a person of interest in the case. Bautista formerly lived in South Lake Tahoe and southern California, but may have recently moved back to South Lake Tahoe, Stevenson said.
