HOMEWOOD, Calif. — Lake Tahoe’s West Shore Caf andamp; Inn invites lunar revelers to the summer’s most anticipated lakefront party, the Blue Moon Rising Blue + White Ball, set for Friday, Aug. 31.“The Blue Moon Rising Blue + White Ball is expected to be one of the summer’s most well-attended events,” said Rob Curtis, general manager of West Shore Caf andamp; Inn. “With the party’s festivities, live music, lakefront patio and pier dining, and rarity of a blue moon rise, this event is certain to offer a magical, unforgettable Tahoe experience,” he added. The West Shore Caf andamp; Inn, which is well-known as one of the Tahoe region’s best locations for viewing the moonrise, hosts a party for each full moon. Violin serenade at 7:21 p.m.Perhaps the evening’s most unique highlight is the violin soloist who serenades guests, as well as the moment, when the moon ascends over Lake Tahoe (7:21 p.m.) Performing from the end of the pier, the sound of the single violin will offer special tribute to the rarity of the blue moonrise. Dress in blue + whiteParty-goers are encouraged to celebrate the blue moon by dressing head-to-toe in blue and white. Dressing to impress has its rewards: Guests in themed outfits will receive half-priced Moonlight Mojito cocktails (the signature drink of the West Shore Caf andamp; Inn).
