July 13
and#8226; At 6 p.m. on the State Beach in Kings Beach, two subjects were arrested for drunk in public after causing a disturbance on the beach. One of the subjects was found to be in possession of grocery items that he stole earlier from a local market. He was also charged with burglary.
July 14
and#8226; Sometime in the past week, an unknown suspect entered residence on Lanny Lane in Olympic Valley and caused $2,000 in damage.
and#8226; At 5 p.m. on Beaver Street in Kings Beach, unknown suspects kicked open the front door and rifled through home. It is unknown if anything was taken.
and#8226; At 5 p.m. on Beaver Street in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect entered a residence and removed a flatscreen TV.
and#8226; At 8 p.m. in Northstar Village in Truckee, officers received a report of a male passed out on a bench. Officers took the subject into protective custody for drunk in public.
July 15
and#8226; At 4 p.m. on the 5000 Block of West Lake Boulevard in Homewood, victim believed that a male subject inflicted $1,000 in damage to his vehicle after an argument over parking.
and#8226; At 7:30 p.m. on the 100 Block of River Road in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect removed a skateboard leaned up against a victimand#8217;s vehicle.
July 18
and#8226; At 8 a.m. on the 8000 Block of North Lake Boulevard in Kings beach, an unknown suspect removed victimand#8217;s debit card and made charges on it.
July 19
and#8226; At 2 p.m. in Lake Forest in Tahoe City, after a smash-and-grab to a vehicle, an iPhone, iTouch and other personal items were taken.
and#8226; At 2 p.m. on the 5000 Block of North Lake Tahoe Boulevard in Tahoe City, after a smash-and-grab to a vehicle, an iPhone and other personal items were taken.
and#8226; At 2 p.m. on Alpine Meadows Road in Tahoe City, personal items were taken after a smash-and-grab to a vehicle.
and#8226; At 2 p.m. on the 700 Block of Chipmunk Street in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect broke into residence and removed a computer.
and#8226; At 6 p.m. on Fox Street in Kings Beach, a possible known subject slashed victimand#8217;s vehicle tires.
and#8226; At 6 p.m. on the 800 Block of North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect removed victimand#8217;s camera from an unlocked vehicle.
and#8226; Sometime in the past 24 hours on the 3000 Block of Fabian Way in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect removed speakers from a victimand#8217;s boat, parked in front of his residence.
July 20
and#8226; At midnight on the 8400 Block of Trout Street in Kings Beach, a male subject was arrested on six outstanding out-of-county felony warrants and possession of stolen property. A female at the location also was charged with possession of stolen property.
and#8226; At 9 p.m. on the State Beach in Kings Beach, a male subject was arrested on a crowded beach for disorderly conduct.
July 21
and#8226; At 3:30 a.m. on the 5000 Block on North Lake Tahoe Boulevard in Carnelian Bay, a female subject was taken into protective custody for public intoxication after a store clerk reported her crying near the potato chip shelf.
July 22
and#8226; At 1 p.m. on the 7800 Block of the North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe Vista, two male subjects were arrested for burglary for shoplifting beer and baked beans.
and#8226; At 9 p.m. on the 8200 Block of North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, an unknown suspect removed two bottles of alcohol from a local establishment.
July 23
and#8226; Sometime overnight on the 5000 Block of West Lake Boulevard in Homewood, an unknown suspect stole three paddleboards and transport wheels.
July 24
and#8226; At 1 p.m. on the 8200 Block of Dolly Varden in Kings Beach, a report was taken for an identity theft. Suspect has been using victimand#8217;s social security number for the past 19 years.
July 27
and#8226; At 1 a.m. on Pine Cone Drive in Truckee, an unknown suspect blew up victimand#8217;s mailbox, causing $50 in damage.
and#8226; At 6 a.m. on the 3000 Block of West Shore Boulevard in Tahoe City, a reporting party found a male subject passed out in his garage. It was determined the subject was unable to care for himself and he was taken to protective custody for public intoxication.
and#8226; Sometimes over the night on Lanny Lane in Olympic Valley, an unknown suspect removed a bike and bike accessories from unlocked vehicle.
and#8226; At noon on the 1900 Block of Squaw Valley Road in Olympic Valley, an unknown suspect removed victimand#8217;s purse from the table at the local eatery while she was gone for a minute.
and#8226; At noon on Winding Creek in Olympic Valley, after a smash-and-grab, a laptop computer was taken.
July 28
and#8226; At 2 a.m. on Squaw Valley Road in Olympic Valley, an unknown suspect took a golf cart for a joy ride during a large festival. The cart was recovered undamaged in the morning.
and#8226; At 9 a.m. on the 200 North Lake Tahoe Boulevard in Tahoe City, an unknown suspect took a golf cart for a joy ride. The cart was returned after $1,000 in damage was done to the golf course.
and#8226; At noon on Alpine Meadows Road in Tahoe City, after a smash-and-grab, personal items were taken.
July 29
and#8226; At 10 a.m. in Squaw Valley, several thefts were reported from a large festival that occurred over the weekend.
and#8226; At 2 p.m. on Lake Forest Road in Tahoe City, a purse and a camera were taken after smash-and-grab.
July 30
and#8226; At noon on Tiger Tail in Olympic Valley, a smash-and-grab incident occurred; $3,000 worth of personal property was stolen.
and#8226; On the 100 Block of North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City, a smash-and-grab incident occurred and $100 worth of personal property was taken.
Aug. 4
and#8226; At 3 p.m. on the 5000 Block of Northstar Drive in Truckee, a rental bicycle was stolen during the care of a renter.
Aug. 6
and#8226; At 7 p.m. on Kings Beach State Beach, an unknown suspect stole victimand#8217;s paddle and paddleboard bag from the beach.
Aug. 9
and#8226; At 3:45 a.m. on the 3000 Block of Highlands Drive in Tahoe City, a male subject was arrested for public intoxication and warrants after acting extremely erratic in the street.
Aug. 10
and#8226; Sometime in the past three weeks in the Lahontan Subdivision, an unknown suspect removed thousands of dollars worth of construction equipment, including copper piping.
Aug. 11
and#8226; At 5:30 p.m. on River Road in Olympic Valley, a male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct/public intoxication.
Aug. 14
and#8226; At 4:30 p.m. on Speedboat Avenue in Kings Beach, officers received a report that three males were fighting in the street. Two subjects were located and arrested for drunk in public.
