Switchback celebrates anniversary with team building excursions

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. —-The ever-growing staff at Truckee’s Switchback PR + Marketing Inc. has been celebrating the firm’s 13th Anniversary with team building excursions unique to the Truckee-Tahoe area. From stand-up paddleboarding to sunset trail horseback rides, the Switchback team has had a big month of celebration with their clients.

Led by the expertise of Lisa Gonzalez, trainer and owner of Stand Up 4 Fitness, a stand-up paddleboarding fitness program based out of Sparks, Nev., the Switchback team spent an exciting morning on the water practicing technique, core strengthening, and yoga all while on stand-up paddleboards. With the tips and techniques learned during the fitness class, the Switchback team took to the waters of Donner Lake with boards from Truckee Sports Exchange to practice more core strengthening.

The Pavilion at Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood Golf Course also helped celebrate Switchbac’s anniversary with a relaxing afternoon poolside. Piping Rock Equestrian Center helped finish off Switchback’s celebratory season with a sunset trail ride on horseback, guided by one of Piping Rock’s staff members.

“It’s hard to believe that it has been 13 years since Switchback opened its doors.
