TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Police last week confiscated 40 marijuana plants from a home in the eastern Truckee subdivision of Glenshire, officials announced Tuesday.

According to a Truckee Police press release, the departmentand#8217;s investigations division became aware over the past few months of and#8220;suspicious activityand#8221; occurring at a Glenshire residence on Saxon Way.

On Thursday, Sept. 20, at about 8 a.m., detectives intercepted a person at the residence and detained him for investigation. According to police, inside the home, detectives discovered approximately 40 marijuana plants in various stages of development, with about 20 ready for harvest.

and#8220;The entire interior of the 3-bedroom house had been converted into a marijuana growing operation,and#8221; the press release reads.

Michael Morrow, 25, of Truckee, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana, according to police. Morrow, who was on felony probation out of Placer County for a previous conviction of illegal marijuana cultivation, was also charged with violation of probation and was booked into Nevada County Jail in Truckee.

The press release did not indicate if Morrow has an attorney or if heand#8217;s posted bail.
