Man arrested after falling from ceiling

Douglas County sheriff's deputies responded to Harrah's Lake Tahoe early Sunday morning after casino security personnel reported a man had broken into an unauthorized area and fallen through a ceiling.

About 3:30 a.m., San Pablo, Calif., resident Leonard Little, 41, allegedly entered an employees-only areas of the Center Stage Bar, walked to a back hallway, and kicked open a locked door that accessed catwalks and the casino's ceiling area.

Little walked about 50 feet before falling through the ceiling, causing an estimated $2,750 in damage, according to a deputy's report. Casino security staff eventually were able to safely remove the man from the area, according to the report.

When a deputy asked him why he entered the ceiling area, Little responded, "I'm trying to figure that out myself," according to the report. He then refused to answer further questions.

Little was booked into Douglas County's Stateline jail on suspicion of destruction of property and trespassing.
