The Incline volleyball team rebounded from a tough loss at Pershing County last week with a pair of solid road wins against Silver Stage on Saturday and Portola on Tuesday.
The Highlanders defeated won both matches in straight sets, dispatching Silver Stage 25-18, 25-15, 25-23, and routing Portola 25-12, 25-16, 25-14.
Incline is now 8-5 overall on the season.
Against Portola on Tuesday, sophomore Claire Kent led the team with 10 kills, six service aces and two blocks. Ronni Flores followed with four kills and one ace, Kira Porter had five aces, two kills and two blocks. Katie Orlady had five aces, 10 passes and seven digs. Michelle Tokunaga finished with 17 passes and four digs.
Setter Megan Golden had one ace, two kills and five assists, and fellow setter Sophie Shorin had one ace, nine digs and eight assists.
Incline plays its first Mount Rose League match against Whittell at home Friday at 6 p.m.
