INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness month with a kick-off event on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at 10 a.m.
The event will mark the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with resort-wide offerings that include exclusive pink cosmopolitan cocktails, pink sweets from Tahoe Provisions, a pampering package from the Stillwater Spa, and a special Awareness Celebration for locals, guests and resort, casino, and Hyatt High Sierra Lodge associates.
Locals and hotel guests are invited to the Awareness Celebration that will feature:
• Complimentary Pink Lemonade Stand: enjoy a refreshment while learning more about Hyatt’s participation in Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
• Pink Cosmopolitans: proceeds from the sale of these cocktails benefit the American Cancer Society and are available at all food and beverage outlets.
• Pink-Themed Treats from Tahoe Provisions: Pink Champagne Puffs, Pink Sugar Cookies, and Pink Awareness Cupcakes.
In addition, the Stillwater Spa will offer two unique relaxation treatments, the Pink Healing Waters Manicure and the 20 Minute Hydra Facial Special every Thursday throughout October. A portion of the proceeds from these specialty treatments will benefit the American Cancer Society’s support for mammogram access.
To continue the celebration, Hyatt associates are thrilled to be taking part in Lee National Denim Day on Oct. 5 by donating $5 each to the American Cancer Society and wearing their favorite jeans to work. Team members will also decorate old pairs of jeans with messages honoring their loved ones affected by breast cancer.
