Incline sophomore Devi Meyers won another Division III golf tournament at Old Brockway Golf Course this past Thursday.
Meyers fired a 92 to easily claim medalist honors ahead of North Tahoe's Kylie Daniels, who shot a 104. Abii Johnson of North Tahoe was third with a 113.
Aside from Meyers, Incline's Lauren Keller carded a 119, Tori Findlen a 116 and Kailee Harbaugh a 138 to help lead the Highlanders to the team win with a collective score of 441. North Tahoe was second at 475, followed by Yerington at 528.
The Highlanders will now shift their focus to the Northern Division III regional tournament, which is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 11, at Fernley Golf Course, where they will compete for a state championship berth as a team against North Tahoe, Yerington and Battle Mountain.
Only the top two teams advance to state, while the top three individuals from non-qualifying teams will also advance. The state championship is Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 15-16, at Eagle Valley in Carson City.
