Truckee volleyball | Wolverines breeze against Incline

The Truckee volleyball team handled Incline in straight sets, 25-14, 25-11, 25-8, at Incline on Tuesday to earn its fifth straight win.

Junior Chelsea Mohun was named Player of the Match for the Wolverines, as she recorded 19 service points, six service aces, 10 digs and four kills to help lead to the lopsided win.

Mackenzie Redner tallied a team-high 15 kills and 12 digs, while Mel Jones finished with 11 kills and 11 service points, and Gabby Moretti had 32 assists. Kestlie Stefanelli contributed 10 digs and Moretti eight.

The Wolverines are now 14-9 on the year and 4-0 in Mount Rose League play. They beat their last four opponents in straight sets and have won every match against the Nevada Division I-A and Division III. The nine losses all came against schools from larger divisions.

UP NEXT: Truckee will host Incline on Friday at 6 p.m. and North Tahoe on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
