TRCD seeks applicants for board

Tahoe Resource Conservation District is accepting applications for one seat on its five-person board of directors.

The applicant who is chosen by the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors will serve a voluntary, four-year term on the board for the TRCD, a South Lake Tahoe-based environmental organization. Interested applicants are required to reside or own property in the Lake Tahoe Basin in either Placer or El Dorado County and are asked to submit a letter of interest along with a County Committee application to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors to be eligible for consideration. TRCD's mission is to promote the conservation, stewardship and education to the Lake Tahoe Region's natural resources by providing leadership and innovative environmental services to all stakeholders.
