TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. - Great service will be awarded at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 11951 Highway 267, Truckee on Monday, Oct. 22 in celebration of Excellent Customer Service, a yearly event championed by the One-Stop Business & Career Center and the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce and supported by a host of generous businesses. This year, five employees were caught in the act by a team of top secret, secret shoppers throughout the Truckee area."You never know when you'll come across amazing service," said Charlotte Hawley, Career Center advisor at the One-Stop. "Amazing service stays with you and makes a definite and lasting impression." This year outstanding service was found at a variety of locations including an auto repair service, a restaurant and a home store business.Great service caught in the act: "I live primarily in Los Angeles, we have a home in Truckee, and I have never heard of such a nicety in my entire life. She is an amazing ambassador for Truckee and she treated us so well."Each winner will receive a certificate of excellence and a gift certificate donated by a local business. Nancy Jeffry will present a one-hour customer service workshop following the awards. With more than 25 years experience as a consultant, seminar designer, process facilitator and trainer, and as manager in the United States and England, Jeffry's experience includes consulting with CEOs and upper management, creating a lively atmosphere for learning, and facilitating a wide variety of seminars focused on professional growth and effectiveness.
