INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - Customers may notice something new when they walk into Forever Rox jewelry store this time around. The store now connects to a small clothing and gift boutique, named Panache.
The store, which opened on July 3, 2012, is already a success, providing affordable fashion, jewelry and home decor. The boutique has the same owners as Forever Rox - John and Rebecca Roxburgh, along with John Hub. The trio combines to offer an unparalleled experience in the jewelry and fashion realms.
While Mr. Roxburgh and Hub have extensive backgrounds in jewelry, Mrs. Roxburgh studied fashion and merchandising, and does the ordering for Panache.
Mrs. Roxburgh explained that her vision for the store, which took the place of Seasons, is "brand and style for every age."
"(We carry) a really eclectic mix," she added.
Before Panache opened, she worked at Seasons for five years, a store similar to Panache, in that it offered gifts and home decor. When Seasons closed its doors, the trio saw an opportunity for expansion.
"When Seasons was closing, we felt the town needed a place where they could get gifts at a reasonable price," Mr. Roxburgh explained, adding that customers can't find a small boutique that has jewelry, fashion and home decor without traveling down to Reno. "There was a huge need to have that in our town."
Earlier this year, when Seasons closed, the trio decided to lease the space and open Panache. Since Mrs. Roxburgh had already worked at Seasons, the relationship with the vendors, as well as the customers, was already in place.
"I knew what gift lines the community relied on, and those ones we kept," she explained.
Among those lines are Tribal, Vietri, Mariposa, Fringe, Papyrus and more. She added that one of the most important aspects of the store and ordering is to keep price points that everyone can afford. For example, the store has bracelets for as low as $9.50.
The store offers everything from home decor, including plates and some silverware, clothes, shoes, jewelry, candles, soaps, books, a small baby section and more. Panache strives to complement Forever Rox, with both stores offering fashionable pieces.
As Mrs. Roxburgh explained, high end jewelry is as fashionable as one can get, and the boutique was simply the next step, allowing the group to offer jewelry and other items at a lower price point.
Along with affordable prices, Panache strives to offer fashionable pieces as well.
"I can guarantee you'll always find clothing that's on trend," she said.
Chances are, you'll always find something new as well. Mrs. Roxburgh added that since the store opened, there's been almost a weekly turnover, with new items being added constantly. The store is currently looking ahead, and has some Thanksgiving items, and will be starting to add Christmas items as early as next week.
Panache is also going to offer discounts to high school and college students. With a valid ID, students can receive 10 percent off their purchases. Mrs. Roxburgh added that even 10 percent off makes a difference when purchasing wardrobe essentials such as denim, pieces people can wear for years. The store also welcomes suggestions for new items to be featured.
For a little bit of everything, stop by Panache, and stop by often.
