TAHOE CITY, Calif. - The Bounce and Fresh Bakin' will host B2: Bride of Bounce-o-Ween at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at Lakeside in Tahoe City.
Highlight performers from The Bounce Festival Russ Liquid, Thriftworks, and HammFM will perform at the annual costume party. Russ Liquid's trumpet-over-bass sound, along with Bay Area electronica artist Thriftworks and glitch-hop lovestep producer Hamm FM will keep the vibe fresh from the start.
Set apart from other up-and-coming West Coast bass music producers by his extensive world-touring history and performance experience, Russ Liquid brings a much-needed injection of melody and emotion to the thriving dance floor community. Classically trained on the piano, trumpet, saxophone and flute, Russ Liquid spent his early 20s touring the Caribbean and South America as part of a jazz quintet, playing resorts, cruise ships and dance clubs. Once the young composer was introduced to electronic music, his course in life was forever altered, and he soon discovered a new home in the international electronic music community.
Thriftworks' hopped into the West Coast festival circuit seemingly from out of nowhere just this summer, however DJs, producers and tastemakers had been in awe of his eclectic and beautiful electronica. HAMM F.M. aka Ham DeRosa is a former Tahoe local whose move recently coincided with the release of his first EP, "Transformations," charted at No. 13 for soundcloud.com's top played music.
Tickets are $15 and are available at the Melting Pot World Emporium in Reno, New Moon Natural Foods in Tahoe City and Truckee, Lakeside and online at www.FreshBakin.com.
