Dog.Dog.Cat owners attend business bootcamp

George and Mary Kay Richter, owners of Dog.Dog.Cat., recently attended "Destination BootCamp" in Colorado.

The Richter's were among a group of business owners from across North America, and Canada who attended the 2 1/2-day, 20-hour workshop.

"Destination BootCamp" was created by marketing consultant Jon Schallert. It teaches independent business owners how to reposition their businesses as "consumer destinations," according to a press release.

"With the principles we learned at the BootCamp, we will be able to satisfy more of our customers needs and make purchasing dog/cat supplies and gifts a much more enjoyable, fun experience. Additionally, we will be attracting more visitors and tourists from outside South Lake Tahoe," George Richter stated in a press release. "With what we've learned, there's no reason we can't attract our target demographic pet lover from hundreds of miles away."

Business owners interested in attending future bootcamps can contact George Richter at 530-541-2322 for information about his BootCamp experience, or visit www.DestinationBootCamp.com.
