20-acre prescribed burn in Incline Village scheduled for today

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District will conduct an understory prescribed burn on Tuesday in the First Creek drainage area of Incline Village, officials announced this morning.

The burn will be approximately 20 acres, according to an NLTFPD press release. Smoke will affect the surrounding areas for approximately 24 hours.

People who are smoke sensitive are advised to stay inside and close their windows and doors as much as possible until the smoke dissipates.
