June Mountain makes comeback

So far all signs point to reopen for June Mountain's 2013-14 season. Plans to reopen the Mammoth-operated ski resort were recently submitted to the forest service for approval. The plans are fully expected to be approved, according to Mammoth Staff.

This means June Mountain, which sits about 30 minutes North of Mammoth, will be back on the venue by next winter. The mountain was closed for the 2012-13 season after low snowfall left them operating at a deficit.
