Joining east and west | Hurricane Sandy benefit concert to feature bevy of local musicians

TRUCKEE, Calif. - Gather at Bar Of America Nov. 10, 8:30 p.m. for a privately sponsored Hurricane Sandy benefit concert organized by Rak Dettelback, Dennis Alexander and many other individuals kind enough to help with the cause.

The benefit will raise money for Red Cross donations to help all those in need affected by hurricane Sandy. A well-rounded group of local musicians (JJ Cady, Tanner Jones, Kandy Xander, Ben Martin, Sarah Gotschall, Matt Reardon, Drew Campbell, Dan McAlister, Warren Martineau, Andrew Baird, Ryan Davis, Stan Charles and One Track Mind band) will each perform a few songs of their choice.

They will graciously share their amazing talents and time to support this event. Jaclyn Wozniki of Bella Petunia in Truckee has put together a raffle. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Program. Raffle tickets can be picked up at Bella Petunia or at the event. Not interested in the raffle? Pop a little something in the donation bucket.

"All in all, this is going to be a spectacular night! I've been blessed and honored with the amount of support from the community and everyone involved ... and will always be a Jersey boy at heart, but my home is Truckee ... So, being a part of an event that puts both coasts hand and hand is priceless. This is what it's all about!" said Dettleback.
