Sugar Bowl Resort launches new website

DONNER SUMMIT, Calif. - Sugar Bowl Resort has launched a new interactive and visual website that is easy to navigate, and streamlines the online purchase of season passes and lodging packages. Visit www.sugarbowl.com/seasonpass for all season pass prices. Standalone Royal Gorge pass prices are available at www.royalgorge.com/passes.html.

The new Sugar Bowl Resort website, designed by Reno-based Saint Pierre, launched on Oct. 17 with integrated video, interactive trail maps and an intuitive layout. As the ski season approaches, the Donner Summit resort plans to add five more webcams to a page that already includes online views of Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Disney and Mt. Judah. The new webcams and the up-to-date weather information on the resort's homepage will help skiers and snowboarders keep track of the most current snow conditions and weather on the slopes.

Visitors to the new website can purchase season passes online, buy a CORE daily pass (a ticket discount and rewards pass valid throughout the season) or book lodging packages at Sugar Bowl's historic, slopeside Village Lodge. Season passes to Royal Gorge and joint Sugar Bowl/Royal Gorge season passes, are also available for purchase on the website.-

"Whether you are a skier or snowboarder scrambling to find out how much snow fell overnight at Sugar Bowl, a destination visitor looking to book a slopeside room or a long-time season passholder looking to renew your pass for next season, the new Sugarbowl.com makes it simple and streamlined," said John Monson, director of sales and marketing for Sugar Bowl Resort.
