November is locals appreciation month at Dragonfly Restaurant
Throughout November, Dragonfly will host locals appreciation month to celebrate and support the local Tahoe/Truckee community. Residents are invited to indulge in half off all dinner items, seven nights a week.

Resort at Squaw Creek's Thanksgiving Buffet, children's dining discount
Resort at Squaw Creek's Thanksgiving buffet returns on Thursday, Nov. 22, 3-8 p.m., in the Grand Sierra Ballroom with culinary offerings to suit every taste. Once again, children 12-and-under can dine for half-price during the 3-3:30 p.m. seating. Reservations are required and space is limited.
The holiday buffet is complete start to finish with freshly-made salads to several decadent desserts, and everything in between. Some of the dishes include: house-smoked Pacific salmon cucumber dill salad; Napa chicken salad with shaved winter squash, watercress and bleu cheese; grilled line-caught Pacific swordfish with creamy heirloom tomato risotto; Heritage pork stuffed with Maytag bleu cheese and cioppilini onions. The carving stations will offer roasted Thanksgiving turkey accompanied by sweet onion and apple dressing, traditional sage gravy and homemade cranberry relish. These items are merely a sample of the gourmet menu.
