Deputies seek two suspects in Stateline robbery

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying two men who beat and robbed an unarmed man outside a Stateline casino earlier this month.

About 9:45 p.m. Nov. 10, the two suspects were speaking with the victim outside the casino when they suddenly jumped and beat him, punching and kicking him repeatedly after he fell to the ground, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

One of the suspects then took the man's wallet before both ran away. The suspects were last seen running behind the casino to the southwest, according to the statement.

Both suspects appear to be light-skinned Hispanics or white, between 18 and 25 years old, of medium height, of medium build, with short dark-colored hair.

Douglas County Secret Witness is offering a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Deputies ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call investigator Slater at 775-586-7255 or Douglas County Secret Witness at 775-782-7463.
