La Galleria helps nonprofit during holidays

TRUCKEE, Calif. - Brooke and Chad Bentley, Truckee residents and owners of La Galleria, are proud to announce they will partner again with the Truckee Community Christmas program. The partnership will help collect non-perishable food donations during November and December by offering a discount for people who make a donation at the store.

"We are excited to be a part of a great local cause. It is programs like Truckee Community Christmas that help keep our community strong and connected by helping each other," said Brooke and Chad Bentley.

The Truckee Community Christmas has coordinated holiday efforts for more than 25 years and is a critical organization in helping approximately 300 families in need each year. The foundation is managed by a group of board members and several volunteers who oversee a variety of nonprofit groups by coordinating the collection of food, toys and clothing. More information can be found at www.truckeecommunitychristmas.com.

"Truckee Community Christmas is thrilled to partner with community-minded Brooke and Chad Bentley of La Galleria. We really appreciate support from merchants like Brooke and Chad who take the reins and plan a promotional program that benefits our efforts. It's what being part of a small town is all about," said Truckee Community Christmas board member Katie Shaffer.

In an effort to help collect non-perishable food donations, La Galleria will provide a 15 percent discount coupon for people who bring in a non-perishable food donation. La Galleria is located in downtown Truckee on commercial row at 10112 Donner Pass Road.
