Several Incline soccer players received All-Sierra League recognition recently, voted on by the league's coaches.
On the girls side, Incline sophomore Alondra Luna was honored on the second team as a midfielder, and junior Caroline May on defense. Senior Katie Jamison received honorable mention.
Brooke King of South Tahoe received the MVP forward award, Olivia Duner of Truckee received the MVP midfield and Melisa Pena of Truckee the MVP defense.
For the boys, senior Hector Banuelos was voted to the second team as a midfielder and senior Brian Cuadros as a utility player.
Freshman Rey Estrada, sophomore Luis Munoz and sophomore Marlon Correa all received honorable mention.
Hector Hernandez of Sparks was MVP forward, Nash McMullen of Truckee MVP midfield and Reed McMullen of Truckee MVP defense.
The Division III first team was selected separately from Division IA and has not yet been received.
