TAHOE, Calif. - Tahoe Resource Conservation District Board retiring Board Member David C. Antonucci was recently recognized for 10 years of outstanding service.

Antonucci has been a Lake Tahoe resident for decades and has a long history in the community as a civil and environmental engineer, as well as a professional writer and historian. Antonucci is also known as an avid volunteer and community advocate; he has served with the Kiwanis, as well as on the boards of Squaw Valley Ski Museum and the Tahoe Resource Conservation District.

David Antonucci's vast knowledge of water quality and erosion control has served the District well, he was a natural fit for an organization whose mission is to protect Lake Tahoe. While presenting the award, President Anderson commented, "David is not just a fellow board member, but a trusted friend of the District and our community is a better place because of his dedicated service."

The Tahoe Resource Conservation District is both honored and grateful for David Antonucci's decade of outstanding service and commitment.

About the Tahoe Resource Conservation District

Their mission is to promote the conservation and improvement of the Lake Tahoe Basin's soil, water, and related natural resources by providing leadership, information, programs, and technical assistance to all land managers, owners, organizations, and residents. Tahoe RCD is a non-regulatory, grant funded, public agency that works with a variety of partner agencies to implement programs and outreach, which focuses on conservation landscaping, terrestrial and aquatic invasive species control, and stormwater runoff.
