The Elks National Foundation is accepting applications for nearly $3.6 million in scholarships.

The funds will be distributed throughout the country. Most Valuable Student scholarship applications are available at www.elks.org/enf/scholars or from high school counselors. Applications must be completely and submitted to the Tahoe/Douglas Elks Lodge or a counselor by Friday.

Legacy scholarships are available at www.elks.org/enf and are limited to children, grandchildren and other close relatives of active Elk members

Local Lodge MVS applications are available from the Tahoe/Douglas Elks Lodge or the scholarship chairman Bob Haug at 265-7900 and must be completed and turned into Tahoe/Douglas Elks Lodge, 1227 Kimmerling Road, Gardnerville, NV 89460 or P.O. Box 143, Minden, NV 89423-0143 by March 28.
