Tahoe Transportation District will present the leading alternatives for the U.S. 50/South Shore Community Revitalization Project an open house Thursday, Dec. 13.
Residents and businesses are invited to attend, offer input and talk with TTD representatives. According to a press release, goals for the corridor reflect the following priorities: design of safer streets inviting to residents and visitors alike; reduce congestion and create traffic flow improvement to encourage people to spend time at businesses, events and restaurants in the area; and enhance the community identity and tourism experience.
The open house will take place from 4-6 p.m. at Harveys Lake Tahoe Convention Center, Emerald Bay B Room.
