INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - Serendipity Yoga Center for Health & Wellbeing is happy to announce the latest addition to its teaching staff, Marla Richardson. who will begin teaching classes after the New Year.Marla is a professional dancer and has been drawn to movement from a young age. In her travels she has explored numerous avenues of body and energy work such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Reiki and has found a deep love and appreciation for yoga. After 6 years of dedicated practice exploring many different yoga styles, she received her 200-hour training in Guatemala, leaving her strongly rooted to the essence of the teaching, which she feels created a space for transition and growth on many levels in her day-to-day life. She feels blessed for the opportunity to share this with her students, friends and family, loving the journey she is on and knowing it is only in its infant stage. Her curiosity on this path makes her heart sing. She is forever grateful to continue learning in her pursuit, consciously breathing in more of this lifestyle. Her classes are soothing with the intention for each student to leave feeling a little more restored, vibrant and embracing the sweetness within each moment.Richardson will teach s Hatha Flow class every Thursday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. beginning Jan. 3.Yogis new and old are welcome to this beautiful practice, in which each posture is held for many breaths. This is a slower class with breath work and deep stretching, helping to lengthen and strengthen the muscles and promoting proper circulation in the body. For more information, call Serendipity, located in the Village Center next to Art's Coffeehouse, at 530-559-1839, or visit serendipityoga.wordpress.com.
