Douglas County Historical Society will host its December lecture on Thursday at Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
This month's speaker will be Bob Ellison, who will discuss the life of Judge Cradlebaugh. Ellison is a longtime resident of Carson Valley and the author of numerous articles about Nevada history. He is also a former constable of East Fork Township and a longtime employee of the former Bently Nevada Corp.
Admission costs $3 for nonmembers and is free for members. The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395 N in Gardnerville, Nev.
