Local children and performance groups will participate in the 18th annual MontBleu Holiday Extravaganza on Dec. 19 and 20.

The show consists of choirs from grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12, as well as a faculty/parent choir. The Blue Ribbon Classical Choir will also perform. The finale will include more than 360 singers.

Performers from Marcia Sarosik Shining Stars dance troupe will also participate.

Pre-show entertainment will include music performed by local student groups, including the South Tahoe High School Orchestra.

The Holiday Extravaganza will take place at 7 p.m. each day in the MontBleu Showroom. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children under 5 will be admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door.
