USPTA/USPTR certified instructor Nick Saadi will host an indoor cardio tennis tennis program in Incline Village this winter. No previous tennis experience is necessary, and racquets will be provided). He will also be teach group and private lessons for youth and adults. Adult lessons are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. Youth lessons (ages 3-18) are Mondays, Wednesdays, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Call for specific times. Diamond Peak Ski Team to kick off season

The Diamond Peak Ski Team officially begins training Thursday, Dec. 20, which marks the opening day of Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Race and pre-racing programs are open to all local youth, ages 6-18. Diamond Peak Ski Team is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating local youth in the art of alpine ski racing. The Mighty Mites division is offering a Holiday Mini Ski Camp from Dec. 28-30, which is open to visitors as well as season-long Mighty Mites enrollees. Skiers must have completed the Diamond Peak Child Ski Center program. The cost of the program is $150 for the three days and it runs 9 a.m. until noon from Dec. 28-30.
