INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be featured as theater, food, family and friends converge under the stars on the scenic shore of Lake Tahoe next summer as Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival celebrates its 41st season.
Featuring live entertainment seven nights a week from July 12 - Aug. 25 at Sand Harbor State Park, the season is anchored by the festival's mainstage production of William Shakespeare's magical comic masterpiece, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," performed Tuesdays through Sundays each week at 7:30 p.m.
LTSF's Producing Artistic Director, Charles Fee, will direct the production.
"We are thrilled to continue Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival's 40-year legacy of producing extraordinary professional theater under the stars for the residents of and visitors to the Lake Tahoe region," Fee said. "The breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe is the perfect backdrop for our 2013 production of Shakespeare's magical comedy."
A six-event Monday Night Showcase performance series will augment the festival's 2013 mainstage production and feature an array of live musical and entertainment acts from a variety of genres.
Monday Night Showcase performances will commence at 7:30 p.m. beginning July 15.
