"We need national dialogue" is a quaint phrase of the moment. Some advocates are quick to use tragedy or crisis to advance an issue. A magazine in a semi-automatic pistol can be replaced in less than a second. A revolver can be fired as fast as a semi-automatic. Pump action shotguns operate similar to semi-automatics.
