TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. _ The business community is invited to attend an employment law update "What's on Your Mind?" Friday, Feb. 8, 9 a.m.-noon at the Cedar House Sports Hotel located at 10918 Brockway Road in Truckee. Sponsored by the Truckee Donner and North Lake Tahoe Chambers of Commerce in partnership with the Sierra Human Resources Association, this seminar includes updated information managers and business professionals need to know for 2013.
The format includes a presentation followed by a questions and answer session with the pair of attorneys. Walter Stella and Mary Guilfoyle of Miller Law Group in San Francisco will cover new federal and California laws as well as best employment practices in general.
Early bird registration is $55 for Chamber and SHRA members, $65 for non-members. Beverages and snacks will be provided at 8:30 am. Attendees will be able to purchase 2013 employment law products at a discount.
