Girls keep cruising
The girls used a balanced scoring effort and solid defense to extend their win streak to four with a 51-25 victory at North Tahoe, Tuesday.
Nine of their 10 players scored on the night.
Brooke King led the way with 12 points, Riley Chapman had 10 and five rebounds, Ally King had nine and six boards, Bailey David eight and four assists.
The girls jumped out to a 27-10 halftime lead.
"We moved the ball well against their zone defense and got a lot of open looks at the basket," Mike Neiger said. "I think the girls turned up the intensity on defense tonight, which forced multiple turnovers."
The girls' next home game is Friday against Incline (7-10, 0-1) at 6 p.m. The ladies are 6-9 overall and 2-1 in league.

Boys erase Lowry weekend
The Vikings put their weekend loss to Lowry behind them with a resounding 70-47 win at North Tahoe, Tuesday.
The boys cruised out to a 14-point lead by halftime behind John Cefalu and Brandon Cramer.
Cefalu knocked down four 3-pointers and led the Vikgins with 14 points. He was a defensive threat for South Tahoe as well, adding four defensive rebounds and four steals before the night was done.
Brandon Cramer turned in his usual stellar performance. The consistent senior came away with nine points and was 5-of-6 in free throws.
The boys are 7-8 overall and 1-0 in league. They will play Incline (9-7, 1-0) at home Friday at 7:30 p.m.
