Tahoe ski tip of the week: What should the correct width of your stance be?

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The answer to this question is the same as for most questions about skiing - it depends on the situation.

For skiing moguls, keep your feet closer together so it's easier to maneuver both skis through the narrow troughs and around the bumps of a mogul field.

For higher speed, more dynamic carved turns keep your feet apart so you can increase the edge angle of both skis and create a strong body position.
