Defense has always been the Vikings' strong point, but Tuesday they took it to another level.

South Tahoe seemed to anticipate Truckee's every move in a 73-42 win at South Tahoe High School.

The win was a compete turnaround from a 36-33 loss to Incline Friday where the Vikings went 0-for-19 from 3-point range.

On Tuesday, the Vikings knocked down 4-of-13 on their 3-point attempts and went 22-for-40 from the 2-point range. They also grabbed 19 steals, six of those coming from John Cefalu, and nine deflections
