RENO, Nev. - South Tahoe's playoff run came to an end when it hit an Elko roadblock at Wooster High School on Saturday.
The lady Vikings hung in until the fourth quarter, but Elko slowly and steadily climbed out to a 49-34 win.
The Elko boys set a blistering pace in the first quarter, outscoring the Vikings 18-10. They kept the tempo up for the next three quarters, using size and sharp shooting to build on the early lead for a 80-42 win.
