Incline High School JROTC preparing for 30th annual formal inspection

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - As the Highlander Battalion returns from the holiday break, it is looking forward to the 30th annual Cadet Formal Inspection. The Highlander Battalion Commander and staff must prepare briefings and make sure required items from the Cadet Command Inspection Checklist are completed.

According to a press release, the battalion's four companies are learning current Cadet Curriculum and Knowledge, and reviewing the previous year's curriculum and knowledge to pass inspection requirements. Each Cadet's uniform will be inspected to ensure correct placement of uniform items.

To retain Honor Unit With Distinction, an average score of 98 percent must be achieved.

The Highlander Battalion has earned this honor 29 years running.

The Incline High School Battalion invites members of the community to attend the 30th annual inspection, which will take place Wednesday, March 13, in the JROTC Range at Incline High School. Staff Briefings will begin at 8:30 a.m.
