Babe Ruth Baseball sign ups today

South Tahoe Babe Ruth Baseball is holding sign ups for the upcoming season today at the South Tahoe Ice Rink from 6 - 7:30 p.m. All boys and girls ages 13 through 15 are welcome to come sign up. Players must have been born between May 1, 1997 and April 30, 2000 to participate. The cost is $100 per player.

Players can also sign up any time, any day at the Best Western Station House Inn at 901 Park Ave., South Lake Tahoe. Tryouts are being held on April 7 at noon and April 13 at 10 a.m. at the South Tahoe High School Gym. Players need to be signed up before these dates to participate this season. Opening day is May 5.

Babe Ruth is a competitive local South Shore league which focuses on continued baseball skill development, sportsmanship and team camaraderie in a fun and safe environment. Anyone interested in playing, helping coach or assist the league should try to attend today's sign ups.
