On the Hill: East Bowl opens at Heavenly

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down the newly opened East Bowl at Heavenly. East Bowl opened this morning, and with it comes very challenging conditions. The upper ¾ of the run are not in great shape. The surface is very hard and not groomed. After some more snow making and the storm coming later this week it should be in better shape.

Tahoe Daily Tribune field report: 0” in the last 24 hours. The storm last week dropped a little over 2 feet.

Weather: Sunny and 16 degrees this morning. The predicted high is 29 degrees today with light to moderate winds. It is much colder than it has been so layer up.

Lifeline Status: No crowds and no lines, great for getting a ton of vertical feet in.

Snowcast: A massive storm is predicted to move in tomorrow and bring significant snowfall everyday through Saturday! You might want to use some sick days this week!
