On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.
Breakdown: Join Tahoe Daily Tribune reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Upper Mombo at Heavenly. The recent storm has left a nice base and is allowing Heavenly to open more terrain. The off piste snow is tracked out from the weekend crowds, so groomers seem to be a better choice today.
Heavenly official report: 0” in past 24 hours
Field report: 0” in the last 24 hours, 37” from the last storm.
Weather: Partly cloudy and currently 33 degrees. 44 is the predicted high today. Moderate to high winds are affecting lift operations.
Liftline status: No crowd, no lines.
Snowcast: Next week there is a chance for a very cold powerful storm to move in. I’ll update as we get closer. This cold storm could drop very fluffy snow, which would be perfect over this base building storm we just had.
