On the Hill: Upper Mombo groomers rip it

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe Daily Tribune reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Upper Mombo at Heavenly. No lines and warm weather are on tap for today. We are experiencing a typical springtime melt freeze pattern, so the runs are starting the day off on the firm side. By the afternoon the conditions will soften up.

Heavenly official report: 0” in past 24 hours

Field report: Stick to groomers in the morning, and then check out off-piste terrain as it warms up.

Weather: Currently sunny and 38 degrees. The predicted high is 44 degrees this afternoon.

Liftline status: No crowds today.

Snowcast: There is a chance of snow starting next Tuesday and continuing into the week.
