Lake Tahoe’s Peter Joseph Burtt and the Kingtide will launch this summer’s popular Live at Lakeview concert series June 26, according to an announcement this week.
The free concert series takes place every Thursday at Lakeview Commons, at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Lake Tahoe Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe.
“We’re super excited to share the lineup for the third season of Tahoe’s favorite event series,” said Rob Giustina, owner of On Course Events, in the announcement.
Following Burtt’s performance on June 26, Lavish Green celebrates its 19th anniversary July 3, Tracorum plays July 10, Randy McAllister brings Americana to the beach July 17, Paa Low’s By All Means Band takes the stage July 24, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds perform July 31, 40 Watt Hype plays Aug. 7, Mojo Green performs funk and soul Aug. 14, Scott Pemberton Trio plays Aug. 21 and Rocker T rounds out the series Aug. 28.
Opening acts start at 4:30 p.m. with the headliners going on around 6:30 p.m.
In addition to music, the events include local food, vendors, artists and a beer and wine garden.
Parking is limited at the concert series, so people are encouraged to walk or bike to the shows. A free bike valet is also offered at the events.
Free off-site parking is available and encouraged at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center at 1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.
