Mother’s Day brunch at Lake Tahoe

SOUTH SHORE

Zephyr Cove Restaurant

Mother’s Day Brunch

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Enjoy the scenery and spend quality time with the family. Indulge in Zephyr Cove’s sumptuous treats, including salmon eggs Benedict, made-to-order omelets, and a spread of pastries and desserts.

Cost: $25 for adults, $12 for children 12 and under

Edgewood Restaurant

Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch

Brunch menu includes a salad station, a seafood station, a breakfast station, an entrée station, a carving station and a champagne station. Featured entrees are tangerine and chipotle glazed chicken, slow-roasted lamb, baked fresh sea bass and roasted vegetables with mascarpone. Both bellinis and mimosas will be served with the meal.

Cost: $45 for adults, $16.95 for children aged 4 years old to 10 years old, free for children under 4.

Mother’s Day Brunch on the Lake

9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The menu includes New York strip steak, honey-glazed ham, poached prawns, smoked salmon, a made-to-order omelet station, Grand Marnier French toast with apple cider sabayon and an assortment of deserts. Entrees include baked seafood Wellington, Mediterranean chicken and orange guava glazed ahi. Champagne brunch is available.

Cost: $44.95 for adults, $19.95 for children 10 and under

Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner

Brunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner: 2 p.m. to close

The menu includes chocolate pancakes with Belgian white chocolate, blueberry pancakes, Spanish chorizo and cheddar scramble, eggs Benedict, and Fallen Leaf French toast. A special dinner menu, including items like elk medallions and macadamia-encrusted halibut, will be served later in addition to the regular menu.

Brunch cost depends on order. Dinner: $39 per person

Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch

9 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 11-12

The all-you-can-eat buffet includes a spread of breakfast entrees, salads, seafood, desserts, omelets, pastries, meats and specialty items like crab-stuffed filet of sole, chicken Wellington, breaded pork chops with lemon menuiere and seafood Newburg.

Cost: $23.99 for adults, $13.99 for children

The special menu includes petite filet mignon and jumbo prawn scampi, black angus prime rib, fresh Alaskan halibut, and seared sea scallops served over linguini. The regular menu is also available.

An all-you-can-eat spread, items include fluffy scrambled eggs, ahi sashimi, roasted spring lamb, slow roasted angus beef, lobster and shrimp Orecchiette pasta and oven-roasted chicken breast among others.

Cost: $70 for adults, $35 for children

Manzanita

Mother’s Day Brunch

A selection of salads, hot items, pastas, desserts and more, specific items include three-mustard rubbed rotisserie chicken, made-to-order eggs, grilled king salmon, prime rib and more.

Cost: $79 for adults, $39.50 for children 6 to 12, children 5 and under are free
