On the Hill: New snow at Heavenly

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join On the Hill reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Orion at Heavenly. The drought is over! Only 1-2” of snow, but it is great to get some fresh turns in! The runs are nice and groomed with soft stashes on the sides. Come on out and get some fresh turns.

Heavenly official report: 1” in past 24 hours.

Field report: We got 1-2” of new snow!!! Not a lot, but it is great to finally see some fresh white stuff!

Weather: Sunny and in the mid 30s this morning. The predicted high is 37 today with light to moderate winds. The moderate wind up top is making it feel colder than it is.

Liftline status: No crowds and no lines.

Snowcast: No new snow is forecasted for the week, but there is a chance of snow next Friday and through the weekend. I will keep the forecast updated, as we get closer.
