Funeral services will take place Thursday for Aaron B. Miraflor, who died Aug. 20, 2006, at Barton Memorial Hospital.

Aaron was born June 17, 1931, on the big island of Hawaii. He graduated from McKinley High School in 1950 and attended business school, both in Honolulu. He worked at the Bank of Hawaii for 14 years before working for Hawaii National Bank, where he was assistant manager. He moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1984 and had been a customer service representative at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe for the past 22 years. He enjoyed traveling and driving his car as well as watching sports on TV. He especially enjoyed playing table tennis, and was a table tennis champion in Hawaii. He was a loving, caring, giving person and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadine Miraflor of South Lake Tahoe; son, Barney Tuando of Campbell, Calif.; daughters, Elise Maddy, Louanne Price, Lorelei Pang, Momi Subiono, Claire Bajo and Celeste Deniz, all of Hawaii; brother, Abel Miraflor of Stockton, Calif.; half brother, Benny Curativo of Indiana; half sister, Naomi Miraflor of San Jose, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.



Viewing will begin at 10 a.m., and funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at McFarlane Mortuary, 887 Emerald Bay Road.

Interment will immediately follow at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
