Barton Auxiliary’s Holiday Faire a success

It was a jolly time at the Barton Auxiliary’s Holiday Faire held at St. Theresa’s Grace Hall Nov. 8, and Santa came as promised, causing all eyes to turn upon his arrival. It was a cheery crowd, as people browsed among the tables and booths of beautiful items for sale. There are many people to thank for the success of this event: Chair Shari Anthony and assistants Marlene Back, Margaret Anton, Linda Hoffman and many more Barton Auxiliary volunteers and Attic crew. Special thanks to South Tahoe Refuse Co., Pat Fountain and Francisco in the Barton Hospital kitchen, Barton Public Relations Department, Pattie Olson and her kitchen assistants, Tracy Valney from Barton Finance, Santa Claus (Marie Foster’s husband Mike), Raleys for the large batch of paper bags, and St. Theresa Church for the annual use of Grace Hall for this event.

It all came together with the help of many hands, and wouldn’t have been possible without the beautiful, valuable and generous donations to The Attic thrift store by the community throughout the year, from which only the best items were saved for this annual sale. All proceeds will benefit patients at Barton Memorial Hospital.
