Boot camp seeks students, employers

Lake Tahoe Community College is partnering with South Tahoe High School to offer an innovative “Customer Service Boot Camp” for local teens.

The goal of this intensive training program is to provide teenagers with the essential guest service skills they will need to enter the workforce in South Lake Tahoe.

Topics covered include exceeding guest expectations, internal customer service, non-verbal communication skills, developing a personal service mission statement, handling difficult guests, and workplace ethics. Students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to meet and interview with local employers at the conclusion of the workshop.



The training will be held on May 4, 2:15 – 4:45 p.m., at the Little Theater at STHS. Interested parents, students, and employers should call Virginia Boyar at (530) 541-4660 (ext. 298) to sign up or to request further information.
