Chamber sponsors communication workshop

International speaker and trainer Donna Hartley will present the “Speak and Make a Difference” communication workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Super 8 Motel Conference Center. The workshop is part of a three-workshop leadership series designed to supercharge your company.

Sponsored by the South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, the cost for the individual workshop is $49 for chamber members, $39 for three or more from the same chamber member company and $59 for non-chamber members. The cost for the three-series workshop is $99 for chamber members and $129 for non-members. The cost includes a 38-page workbook and a diploma upon completion of all three sessions. In addition to Hartley’s communication workshop will be workshops in May and June on “Back to Basics Sales” and “Negotiating Today’s World” presented by T. Max Haynes and Bobby Covic of International Speakers Group.



Hartley has been an inspiration speaker for more than 20 years. She is the author of “Fire Up Your Life!” A member of International Speakers Association, owner of Hartley International and co-founder of International Speakers Group, she has been featured on NBC, ABC, PBS, TLC, in New Woman Magazine and in The New York Times.

Participants in the three-hour workshop will learn to master delivery, impact words and body language; deliver powerful techniques for opening statements; create compelling closings to influence a call to action; and interactive, hands-on training for maximum results.
